Emily and Maureen spent four days in Florida for a soccer tournament. She had games three of the four days, but we were still able to make the most of our time. We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets in Tampa, two beautiful half days in Clearwater and a special trip to Universal to experience Harry Potter.
Half of our day in Universal was spent in torrential rain, but we were so excited to be there that it didn't bother us at all.
Clearwater was absolutely gorgeous. As New Englanders, we really don't see beaches like this.
But as New Englanders, we are able to take a quick dip in the Gulf of Mexico in January, shocking all of the native Floridians walking the beach in their winter coats!
Traveling during the school year means doing hours of home work on the road, including late at night in the airport.
